Extreme Flight Extra 300 58" - Blue

 In creating the new 58 inch Extreme Flight Extra 300,
we wanted to capture the seductive beauty of the full scale machine
while applying our tried and true formulas of pulling and stretching
the airframe to create a great flying model.

As a result, the new 58 inch Extra projects a bold scale appearance while being optimized for modern RC aerobatic flight. In addition to delivering a top performing world class airframe, we packed the Extra with unique features, hardware and accessories that until now were simply unheard of in the RC industry.

The Extra features the beautiful and functional interlocking laser cut construction that Extreme Flight is known for, which is expertly covered in a gorgeous Oracover (Ultracote) color scheme. The cowl, one piece canopy/hatch with hatch latch (ready to use out of the box), wheel pants and landing gear fairings are all professionally painted and exude a glossy finish unmatched in the industry.

The Extra was designed around the new Torque Revolution 4014T/570 brushless outrunner and Airboss Elite 80 Amp ESC with switching BEC (which allows the use of up to 5 cells without the need for an external BEC). A 5S 3200-5000 mah LiPo battery is required for maximum performance. The Extra can also be converted to glow power (requires the purchase of our glow conversion kit, sold separately) and will accept engines in the .46-.82 range. The Extra is designed to use mini servos to actuate ailerons and elevator and a standard size servo on rudder.

A beautiful airfoiled carbon fiber landing gear is included as well as a carbon fiber wing tube spar, matching scale spinner with aluminum backplate, complete hardware package with ball links and threaded pushrods, pull-pull system, Pilot X pilot, Scale Instrument Dash, composite control horns and a decal sheet.

With reduced control throws the Extra is a precision aerobatic machine, performing rolls, snaps, loops and spins with laser-like accuracy. Snaps are a thing of beauty and the light weight wing panels allow the Extra to exit snaps at the exact instant you command it to. Flip the rate switches to high and experience the most responsive aircraft you’ve ever had your hands on.
