Product Description
The JR RD1222 is a high performance receiver system for use in scale helicopters, jets, large- scale aeroplanes and other models that require the highest levels of R/C response, security and reliability.
The main unit is a power safe power distribution centre that provides up to 35 A continuous (50 A peak) current to power multiple high power digital servos. Four EA101 remote receivers are included; these remotely mounted receivers can be placed throughout your aircraft to pick up the clearest possible RF signal. A minimum of two remote receivers must be used in each installation.
The RD1222 can be used with either one or two battery packs. If you use two batteries, the power safe function offers a true redundant dual battery system; if one pack fails the other battery will provide power to the system. It is recommended that the packs used are of the same age, type and capacity. The battery connections are made via heavy duty cables and connectors.
Other features include a soft switch that fails ON if the switch is damaged, two types of failsafe - throttle only and conventional (all servo) and instant reconnect (less than 1/2 a second) if a power interruption (brown out) occurs.
